Abualabass is the founder of Glimmer of Hope, NGOs Expert with over 10 years of experience in humanitarian work and community development, and Project Management specialist with IT Background and great analytical and problem-solving skills that helps him to set the vision and strategy of Glimmer of Hope to be a role-model organization of improving and developing the education of visually impaired people in Sudan.
Musab M. Abdellatif
Co-Founder and Counselor Member
Musab is a very enthusiastic activist who devoted all his efforts on GOH since its establishment. Also, he is an Information Technology graduate and we consider him as one of the most significant assets of GOH with a great lead by example leadership attitude that encourage all our volunteers to achieve more than they expected which always helped in making a qualitative positive change on the segment of the visually impaired people and the society.
Chief Executive Officer
Maria is a Senior Data Analyst. with over 4 years of extensive experience in applied and theoretical statistics, research analysis, design survey, data management, and info-graphics. She also has 7 years’ experience in NGO field and now she acts as Chief Executive Officer at GOH devotes her knowledge, experiences and skills to ensuring the rights of education to the people with visual impairment in Sudan
Dr. Hamida Elnuss
Dr. Hamida is an active youth development practitioner who has been working in NGOs development and youth capacity building for more than 8 years. Her focus is the strengthening of the role and the impact of civil society institutions through effective coordination of efforts to provide refined capacity development programs and common platforms that primarily target young leaders and civic actors and all stakeholders of the development process in Sudan.
Mohamed (Alhaggay) has over 12 years of experience in storytelling and media, working in community and individual development by building mutual understanding and peaceful co-existence concepts using historical storytelling. Mohamed would like to build the confidence of the Visual Impaired people to be productive contributors instead of being beneficiaries.
Nahla is an Interior Designer, a Poet, and Activist started her voluntary journey 6 ago by creative writing and composing at GOH. Nahla contributed in shaping and developing the media and public relationship of the organization by her extraordinary media skills especially in the community awareness domain and fundraising.
Nahla believes that word is a blessed art of love and message we carry gives our existence a noble purpose that can lead to a positive change.
Asma is an aircraft engineer and inspector. She has more than five years of experience as project management in NGOs. She is an alumni of United Nation Alliance of Civilization (UNAOC) program, Community leader with Horn of Africa Leadership and Learning for action program (HOLLA) and community leader with Techstar startup weekend. She is passionate about using existing technology to accelerate community development and social change. For her there is no better than being a part of creating or participating in a hands-on experience that gives power and voice to people within the ecosystem.
